Abstract

Microsoft Windows 7 has arrived in the market with revolutionary enhancement in users' security, productivity, streamline and control of PC management. Before taking steps to implement the services broad operating system, organizations are needed to plan and get prepared very carefully. After the Windows 7, organizations are focusing its benefits and are planning to implement the upgraded operated system. This study will briefly discuss the procedures and steps taken by Intel Company in migrating to Windows 7 and further evaluate the critical stages and high level procedure in implementing Windows 7.

Intel Corporation is well known world-wide as the largest semiconductor developer, providing its best services in the United States, Asia and Europe. Intel has brought a revolutionary change in the world since the time it was founded. This company introduced the microprocessor that has brought the computer on a chip and that made possible the invention of first handheld personal computers (PCs). During the early days of 21st century, Intel has progressed so much that Intel's microprocessors were used by more than 80 percent of PCs all over the world. This company also manufactures motherboards, chipsets, flash memory that is implemented in wireless communication devices and various other electronic device applications involving switches, hubs, routers, and many other products manufactured specifically for Ethernet networks. The control chips are embedded and used in networking products, imaging devices, laser printers, storage media as well as various other applications.
