Introduction
A student veteran has more than one meaning, on one hand, it is a person who has expertise in a particular area, and on the other side is also referred especially to retired people in the armed forces and very especially people who are surviving soldiers of any conflict. Sometimes, the word veteran refers to retired service personnel too. However, any member of the armed forces who has been in combat or have served for a long time can be described as a veteran. Veterans, especially since the Vietnam War and other contemporary conflicts such as Iraq, Afghanistan, present a social problem for their respective societies regarding their reintegration into the society due to severe physical and psychological disabilities that these people acquire during conflicts. Most of these people join the armed forces at a very young age, and are therefore unable to complete higher education. When they return from war or conflicts and the authorities try to reintegrate them by finding them good and respectable jobs, it becomes a great problem because of their lack of education and exposure to higher education. Thus, they become a burden on the society. (Pekow, 2008)

Suicide is growing as a pandemic in this group.
In this paper, we would carry out a research about the student veterans in the United States who decide to take up a 2 year graduation program. As already adverted, student veterans find it hard to return to normalcy, there are special course designed for these students. These courses focus on familiarizing the students with the college environment and the courses help them to successfully complete their “transition phase” from a military life to that of college life. Not only vocational courses are required by student veterans, but they also require some advice, counseling, and interaction with fellow veterans to socialize with them and return toward normalcy.
We would also delve into several other aspects pertaining to education student veterans, for example, the attitude and perceptions of staff and teachers toward this group of students, whether the schools ...
