Introduction

'Fletch' is a movie about an investigating reporter named Erwin Fletcher Fletch who worked for the Los Angeles newspaper. He had an intention of finding out the facts of the drug trade in the region and find out the person responsible for it. In doing so he commits several crimes which lead him into trouble

Scene Description

The first criminal scene is in which Fletch accepts to murder Stanwyck. In order for his wife to inherit his life insurance policy, Stanwyck offers $50,000 to Fletch to murder him.

In another scene, Fletch, while in the club overhears the orders passed to a waiter about a drink ordered by Mr. Underhill. At this point, he pretends to be Mr. Underhill and consumes the drinks. He does this many times and orders some Dom Perignon, lobsters, and caviar while the bill is added to Mr. Underhill's account.

Another crime took place when the police can to arrest a black taxi driver. Seeing that the police was beating the man, Fletch tries to stop the arrest and then in order to divert their attention he breaks the window of the police car with a rock.

When Fletch comes to know who the realtor of Mr. Stanwyck is, he tried to enter his house without anyone knowing. He hops over the fence, climbs trees, jumps on the roof, and enters in through the window.

A criminal act of Bigamy is also committed in the movie. Mr. Stanwyck marries to another women known that his first wife is alive. Mr. Stanwyck lives with one wife and often visits the other wife.

At the end of the movie when fletch enters Mr. Stanwyck's house to murder him, he finds Mr. Stanwyck ready to kill Fletch but the unexpected arrival of Chief Karlin results ...
