Introduction

The endowments of the modern world cannot be enumerated individually, as well as in quick successions. One needs to ponder over for a significant amount of time before reaching to the conclusion, as though what the modern times have render to the inhabitants, who are now excessively consumed in their facilitative lives and activities. Many individual are complacent merely over relishing on those endowments, by just assessing their superficial values. What these modern times really had to render to us were the numerous forms of entertainment and fun, to pass our leisure time in the most amusing and satisfying manner. Unfortunately, as discussed earlier, numerous individuals merely take those endowments (forms of entertainment) to their face value and tend to deliberately or inadvertently ignore the moral and psychological hazards it entails. Similar is the case with the most revered and followed form of entertainment, hip hop music. As fascinating and amusing, as it may feel, in reality it encompasses numerous negative impacts, which are far from being noticed by the cognitive ability of a naive person and child.

Negative Impacts of Hip Hop Music on Young Children

As discussed earlier, numerous forms of entertainment and amusement encompass negative impacts, which are not assessable to the naïve mind of a young child. However, over time research has ruled out the essence of the hip hop music, as just being another genre of music, or form of entertainment, and has assimilated the darker side of this matter. The negative impacts are not only confined to the psychological aspects of the young children, but they spread over a number of factors.

The history of hip hop entails that it originally emerged as the gateway to the voice and feelings of the suppressed races in America. Being affiliated with the rap genre, hip hop soon became a mode of expression for most of the African Americans. However, in the current context, this genre is playing a pivotal role in glorifying and making the act of violence attractive and enchanting for the young impressive minds of the children of our society.
