Nutrition Analysis and Requirements

Introduction

The importance of nutrition plan for the athletes is very important. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to highlight the role of different nutritional intakes by the athlete. This consist of the role of proteins, vitamins and carbohydrates in the daily diet and the analysis what might be the possible outcomes of taking such a diet on regular basis.

Therefore, especially when athletic performance limits are reached, seemed it optimized diet - especially in endurance sports stressed - another performance gain can be achieved. This has been demonstrated by several studies in sports that were allegedly exhausted. It must be emphasized that especially in young talent still has the ability to influence dietary behaviour. Proper nutrition is especially for the healing process after injury is important (Waddington, 2000, pp. 409-415).

Discussion

The writer started the discussion by highlighting the example: In studies could prove that was cut from muscular after the healing time by a fourfold increase in vitamin C intake 18 to 10 days. Vitamin C plays a crucial role in connective tissue synthesis and is an important vitamin to combat stress situations. (High performance sport injuries and stress points mean additional stress). This one should know that man is not one of the few living creatures is able to produce vitamin C themselves (Waddington, 2000, pp. 418-422).

The purpose of this paper is to present the idea of healthy nutrition food in relation to the condition of an athlete. For this purpose the author used the Dietary reference value chart to show that whether the desired level of intake the required notional elements were enough for the athlete or not. Being an athlete, the most important part is the nutritional food.

Protein

In studies it has been found that certain waste materials derived from animal protein (uric acid as an end product of Flurin (nucleus) metabolism) increase the incidence of injury. Our kidneys can excrete that is only a fairly small amount of this substance. An enzyme that would be able to reduce uric acid - the uricase - is not synthesized by man. All the meat eaters in the animal world produce according to their lifestyle, larger or smaller amounts of this enzyme. In humans is not excreted in the urine residual amount of uric acid in joints (gout) or soft tissue (connective tissue) is incorporated.

Thus, the uric acid value of the blood is a reliable indicator of the likelihood that a muscle injury is imminent (Liesen). From this the conclusion is drawn that it is better to include more vegetable than animal protein. Other reasons in favor of such a decision, two impurities of animal protein: fat and cholesterol.

Both are in vegetable protein sources contain no or only very small quantities. Recommended a proportion of 60 to 70% of vegetable protein. As a consequence, has the consumption of animal protein (rather more fish than meat) can be reduced (Wroblewski & Wright, 2010, pp. 1278-85). Carbohydrates

Ideally, a share of about 63 energy% carbohydrates in the diet, have in reality but the carbs on average ...
