Occupy Wall Street

Introduction

Occupy Wall Street refers to the protest movement started in the month of September 2011. The movement was held in the city of New York near the Wall Street financial district. This movement was brought down and planned by Canadian activist group named Adbusters who are aimed at occupying protests and movement throughout the world. The main purpose of the movement was to highlight the issues concerning social and economic inequality, corruption, greed and to believe that the corporations have great influence on government especially from financial sector (Engler, p. a1-3).
