Introduction

The purpose of this study is to expand the boundaries of our knowledge by exploring some relevant information relating to the personality analysis of Oprah Winfrey. Oprah Gail Winfrey is a television presenter and actress from United States. Her acting debut took place in 1985 with the film “The Color Purple”, for which she was nominated for Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She is considered one of the most powerful women in the USA because of her vibrant personality and her success over the years. Oprah Winfrey has managed to transform her role from a mere TV presenter to opinion leader (Lowe, 1998). In this paper, we will examine the projects initiated by Oprah Winfrey to support causes she believed in and also discuss how the foundation reflects the personal values of Oprah Winfrey.

The success of a leader depends on his or her ability to influence people and inspires them to achieve a common objective. Oprah Winfrey is one of the prime examples of an effective leader. An effective leader is the one who is able to accomplish various challenging tasks, have an ability to manage resources and have the confidence to communicate the followers in an effective way. With the help of all these skills, a leader is able to keep the followers motivated and well connected to the overall objectives and goals.
