Organicist Ontology: Internal Relations, Self determination and Final Causation

Introduction

Ontology refers to the study of a psychological nature on the basis of reality, existence and being. It also includes the basic classes and relation of being. Ontology was traditionally considered as a part of psychology termed as metaphysics. Ontology deals with the study of entities that are existed or said to be existed, how they can be group or relate in a hierarchy, and how they can be divided further on the basis of their differences and similarities. In logical psychology, it is associated in assessing categories of being, whether they are elemental and questions the items in such categories, can be said to “be”. It is an inquiry about beings of specific properties that may be related o them or specific facts acquired about them (Peter, Pp. 213-229).

Overview

Platonic philosophers argued that nouns refer to existing entities, which may also include abstract nouns. Other philosophers argue that nouns does not always identify entities but also provide assistance in exploration of a collection of events or objects. These views lead to an ideology that mind cannot be refer as an entity, but a collection of events that a person experiences. Geometry is considered as a collection of a particular type of logical activity, while society is considered as a collection of individuals with certain similar characteristics. There are a number of other positions between these concepts of nominalism and realism, but ontology should account for words that relate to entities. When this process is applied to nouns like, truth, time, space happiness, energy, contract, causality, electrons and God, ontology leads to different branches of psychology. Having an idea of ontology, we will now discuss three concepts that are internal relations, self determination and final causation that define an organicist and root back to the original concept of ontology.

Organicist Ontology

Having discussed the concept of ontology, it is important to understand organic ontology so as to relate it to the study of political sciences. Organic ontology is designed to substantially evolve and change. Where it is impossible to enforce and specify a strict ontology, organic ontology is used, while letting ontology evolving and sustaining its basic functions. This includes synchronization of disseminated team activities, fast sampling of semantic applications and managing and organizing human-generated metadata. Organic ontologies consist of a vast variety of clear terms connected with a web of accurate relationships and common associations (Winslow, Pp.1-15).

Now we consider a human development and their connected possibilities of economic, moral and political structure. Moral implies the human potential of leading a life in which they practice free-will and other fulfilling activities that support their moral and personality development. Karl Marx paid particular attention to ontological framework and referred to the work of Aristotle who Marx consider as a “the greatest thinker of antiquity”. Marx visualize political economy as a moral science which contains the primary concern of providing individuals with the requirements necessary in order to live the objective good life. This conception roots to a ...
