People working for a financial company come up with problems nearly every day, solutions which come in place are not understandable easily but if taking into consideration it is easy to understand the concept of decision made by the senior management. Last week we came to know our company was undergoing massive change and reorganization because of the competitive forces capturing the financial solutions industry. Also, the corporation was involved within ongoing mergers and acquisitions from the last 6 months. During the latest consolidations after merger activities, one in their internal Information Methods division underwent substantial job cuts and layoffs. One large team of 150 people within this division experienced a twenty five percent (25%) decrease in force. Department management reorganized the rest of the employees into some sort of "work team" construction, and focused the actual teams on key internal sections.
