Abstract

This paper emphasizes the organizational culture and standards of IT companies across the globe. It also explains the effects of theses values that are reflected on every individual behavior within organization and outside as well depicting the growth of every individual of the organization on the basis of performance and productivity that makes the organization business profitable as a whole. Organizational values are key components of the smooth conduction and flow of productive outcomes of the IT business. This is important because it aligns the production standards with respect to competitors around the world. This paper discuss the organizational culture of two fortune companies (Hewlett-Packard and Dell) depicting the culture hierarchy from recruitment to retirement stages of the professional.

Introduction

Organizational culture is human behavior of the employees of the organization and their significance that they append (by their actions) to their organization. Culture denotes the organizational principles, predictions, medians, working language, classification and their beliefs. It is a pattern of organizational teaching that is held for every employees as to instruct them a way of communal demeanor and patterns of visions to think and analyze analytically. This culture affects the way the employees interact with customers, clients, colleagues and the stake holders. Corporate culture has been used by managerial sources in their organizations since 1980s. Corporate culture and the company culture are two variants of the organizational culture that are depicted the same way with only difference of being referred to in business organizations.

Corporate or organizational culture is values and demeanor of individuals that contribute to the distinctive societal and psychological surroundings of a business corporation. This includes the expectations of the organization, is relative experiences, philosophical approach and morals that bind the employees (and the organization itself) together on common grounds. This is expressed by self-portrays of individual level contribution, shared attitudes, the rules and legislator laws, the conduct of organization (internally with employees and externally with clients), freedom of decision making, creativity skills, power flow hierarchy and the common goal of the staff to reach one base point.

This paper discusses about the organizational culture of two fortune 500 countries i.e. Hewlett-Packard and Dell. Corporate culture in these two companies is depicted form the lifecycle of professional employees of the company (from the tome of recruitment till retirement). It will also discuss about the organizational ethics of the two companies with a broad comparison of their policies implemented to maintain the adequacy and integrity of the organization in business world.
