Introduction to Personal Development Program (PDP)

A Personal Development program is used as an effective tool that is structured to support skills, education and development. PDP is an urge of becoming more than what a person currently is; having capabilities to achieve that more. PDP is a written down arrangement that provides a frame work to achieve long term or medium term goals and helps in attaining prevailing professional commitments. This plan is an endeavour to achieve perfections in personal life as well as in professional life through achieving goals. One thing that I consider quite important is to analyse myself. The analysis will help me in finding out my weaknesses and threats so that I can eradicate them from my personality. The analysis will also be helpful in presenting me the opportunities and strengths which are attainable through my abilities. The aim of this Personal Development Plan is to execute a self progress and self organization process. .

Outline Objectives and Goals

The human behaviour is unpredictable and the absent-mindedness is one of the characteristics of human beings. Therefore, I find it essential to keep and mange an effective personal development plan that is in a written format so that I can overcome my aforementioned short comings. My main goal is to become a manager of the company in the next three years. The company for which I work is a large scale Public Relation (PR) company. The company works as a bridge between individuals and the organizations. The activities of company involve speaking to the general public, conducting seminars, speaking with press through conferences and other means and developing employee communication. The aim of my company is to convince investors, stakeholders and employees about views of the other side of the company for example for products, quality, leadership, environment or synergy. There is so many small scale or medium PR companies existing in the market. These PR companies do not have possible arrangements to provide facilities and services on such a large scale as it is done by my company. Currently I am working as an assistant and would want to see myself as a manager of the company in near future realistically in three years. In order to achieve my target I need to make some plans.

I firmly believe that knowledge opens vents for success. The achievement of my goal of personal development requires attaining some study skills. This is the reason I have commenced and started focussed on my studies. Currently I am pursuing my Bachelors degree in International Events Management in combination with French. I would further like to excel by doing Master in the field of events industry. These combination and initiative will definitely be helpful in raising my knowledge about the event management industry.
