Philosophy of Education

Introduction

Every individual living in a society enjoys certain basic rights over the society. These include food, shelter, clothing and health facilities and much more. However, one of the most essential rights that must be granted to every individual citizen in the society is education. In fact, it will be fair to say providing sufficient and quality education facilities to the citizens are a mutually beneficial practices for both the individuals and the overall society. For years, decades and centuries, socialists, anthropologists, politicians, leaders and philosophers have discussed and emphasized on the importance of Education for the citizens and their betterment and for the betterment of the societies. However, it is unfortunate that millions of individuals all over the globe remain deprived of this fundamental necessity. Moreover, of the fortunate individuals who are enjoying this facility, only a small population can afford a high standard quality education. Thus, in my opinion, it is high time that the societies realize importance of Education, fair and effective distribution of education resources and establish and maintain an educational where all the components are effectively operational.

Thesis Statement

A sophisticated Educational system can be categorized into various components that include Schools, teachers, courses, subjects and much more. However, only a proper and organized working pattern of these components will ensure high quality education for every citizen in a society without any bias.

I believe that individuals at this age have a lot of things and aspects to learn and explore.

They have to explore their career option and their colleges. They have to deal with the various peer and societal pressure that are most critical in this age. They have to learn their role as citizen and they must also learn that they are now accountable and responsible for their actions which in turn will have a direct impact on others in the society. Therefore, teaching children in this age is a challenge. However, I would like to accept this challenge, as I believe that by preparing and guiding these young minds in the right direction, I will be playing my part in the society. However, I believe that philosophy of Education is not limited to any particular grade or class.
