Introduction

If we could review to particularize nurse in the health care, we would say that the nurse is synonymous with Mother, because she lives intensity with the arrival of a new being from the moment of birth, to the death of a person. The nurse in health care reflects the joy, sweetness and tenderness in his recovery with satisfaction and enthusiasm give until it hurts -As we would paraphrase Mother Teresa of Calcutta by providing those with a single tender care end: The welfare of the new being out of conviction and commitment to personal service (Spence, & Wild, 2009) . Well as nurse Pediatrics is the one who suffers and is willing to give whether the love of those who refuse for hazards the destination, no purpose material only hope- do as a reward in the face of that child health well, that innocent smile of this new being that only they know how to give. After the green uniform emerald inspires hope and confidence in the patients and their families, the nurse gives her competent assistance and personal commitment to individual attention, despite the structural inadequacies, insufficient logistics, human resource gaps adequate amount of services where they work, little importance of employers and managers to maintain have them trained, among others.

Problem Background

I am a Nurse in a rural healthcare setting as a charge nurse; I am responsible for a 20 bed unit and 4 LVNS. It is busy and stressful because besides the ER doc, there are no in hospital providers on duty unless they are seeing their own patients for a few minutes. The Charge nurse is accepted to know all aspects of medicals conditions and be prepared to take the actions to stabilize the patient prior to calling the provider. It cause difficulty for me in giving my best because I have lots of roles and responsibilities to accomplish and as it is matter of someone's health I can not show any negligence. Once a patient faced serious problems because I was busy seeing another patients. I also see patients although it is recommended that Charge nurses should not be given patients.

Discussion

A charge nurse plays a supervisory role in a specific unit in a care facility or hospital. It usually takes some responsibility for patient care, as well, but also takes responsibility for ensuring that everything runs smoothly on the unit. Often it is the staff schedule and trains and supervises other nurses. Since they have many responsibilities it becomes difficult for them to manage all these responsibilities alone without assistance of any other staff. It affects their commitment and work (Shortell, 2008). Charge nurses usually have good nursing skills. They have the ability to direct motivate, train, and supervise, staff and demonstrate good organizational skills.
