Practices Handed Down through Family

Introduction

Every family has its own traditions, customs, and rituals. These practices, along with understanding of them, bind relatives to one another and reinforce those connections over time (Bengtson, 2005). In this essay, I aim at describing the family practices handed down through family and that are still practiced by our family members. The family practice that I like to highlight in this paper surrounds the role of parents as a father and mother in their family that has been conveyed to us by our family ancestors.
