Introduction

This paper in relation to the mentioned case will attempt to analyze the state courts and statutes of United States of America, to what type of showing must the government make before it can place metal detectors in schools, airports, courthouses, and elsewhere.

Discussion

With the growth of the modern administrative state, suspicion less, administrative searches are prevailing in American society. In general, lower courts consider metal detectors administrative searches; many courts have held them constitutional.
