Introduction

Quentin Jerome Tarantino, the most renowned director from Knoxville is famous because of his unique style upon films, like nonlinear plotlines and stylistically excessive violence illustrations in his films. Tarantino's approach of filmmaking is stylistic and different from work of other directors in a way that he mostly uses extremely violent and bloody graphics. Since he has started his career, he has enjoyed an overwhelming response from the audience along with great success. This paper aims to discuss reasons behind the success of Tarantino's films for being violent and why people admire aestheticization of violence is his work.

Tarantino has started his career as a screenplay writer and he established a general style of his own with the screenplay of “Reservoir Dogs. Remarkable feedback on this movie lead him write screenplay for other two famous films including Romance, and Natural Born Killers. Consequently, his career heightened with the popularity of films like Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown and Kill Bill. Tanarition's films are famous mainly due to his aestheticization of violence. Likewise, in the film “Kill Bill” it has been noticed that the blood is exaggerated throughout to an almost comedic and arduous affect. In Kill Bill, the scene of Gogo Yubari death was intense and audience found that scene breath taking. However, in Reservoir Dogs he almost avoided displaying violent scenes as noticed in the Ear Cutting scene, but he engaged his audience with the factors like fear, curiosity and disgust (Sison, 2010).

The reason why people admire his films a lot is that he mostly prefers demonstrating and popularizing culture. Audience appreciates his work mainly due to the fact that he always relates and develops some different form of relationship with viewers.
