Abstract

This study is related to the diminution of Cholera disease through the adaption of simple filtration techniques. Vibrio cholerae has persisted for centuries and still contaminates inadequate water systems today in Bangladesh. This bacterium causes cholera, an acute disease of profuse dehydrating diarrhea. Infection occurs when human fecal matter contaminates drinking water sources. In untreated cases, cholera can have a mortality rate of 50-75 percent, due mainly to dehydration.
