Problem Definition

Down syndrome is a genetic disease. It occurs when a child is born with 47 chromosomes instead of the usual 46. The extra chromosome is associated with chromosome. It causes a delay in brain development and various physical abnormalities. Any child may be born with Down syndrome, regardless of ethnicity, sex and socioeconomic status. It is assumed that Down syndrome occurs in both sexes with equal frequency. Over the past few decades, the frequency of Down syndrome increases, but some data do not support this view.
