Introduction

The main purpose of this paper is to attend a religious gathering and define the perspective in relation to that religion. The paper is related to the religious gathering and gets the proper knowledge of the religion and change the misconception about the religion. The paper also provides recommendations of the ways through which the misconception could be resolved.

Discussion

The religion which I have chosen to study in this paper is Islam. I have been very interested in Islam and have a great knowledge about this religion. There is a conception of people that Islam is a religion of terrorists. People all over the world and other religions feel that Islam is basically a religion of terrorism and claim that each and every act of Islam leads towards the terrorism. This misconception is very common all over the world and Muslims are taken as the terrorists. Terrorist units have two main kinds of subunits: the cell and the column. The cell is the most fundamental. Comprised of four to six people, the cell more often than not has an area of expertise; it may be a planned component or an intelligence division. In some units, the accountabilities of strategic cells show a discrepancy with the task. Other cells are intended to maintain the functions. Groups of cells generate columns, which are semi-autonomous collections of cells with a range of spheres and a single domination arrangement. As combat units, columns have dubious efficiency. They are too unwieldy to be employed in major functions, and the confidentiality required by terror campaign averts effectual collaboration amongst columns. The main purpose of this paper is to understand the misconception of Islam as a terrorist religion and discuss the ways through which this misconception could be removed or either minimized.

Religious Gathering

The religious gathering which I have attended is the gathering created my Muslims to discuss the essence and element of peace in Islam. This gathering was mainly a lecture in which the speaker was presenting his speech on Peace in Islam and how Islam imposes restrictions on terrorism acts.

Misconception about Islam

Before attending this workshop on peace in Islam, I was also in the opinion that Muslims are terrorists and Islam guides towards the terrorism. Terrorists, in a nutshell, perform as if they are directed by the same cogent- choice calculus that active human performance in more normal surroundings. They assess the options presented to them and prefer the alternative that guarantees the largest projected gain in relation to cost; they act in response, furthermore, in a rational and conventional manner to shifting dangers and, one may add, to altering awards.
