Religious tolerance is a very important subject that has been under the spotlight from the past few years. It has received a high importance on the fact that effective steps should be taken in order to promote spiritual importance. It is to observe that religious tolerance is a growing and significant social movement in the United States, and it also should be one. The society that exists today is a world of religious pluralism. It involves a number of different religions. It is obvious that there are approximately 2 billion Christians, 700 million Hindus, 1 billion Muslims, 150 million Atheists, 350 million Buddhists, and 14 million Jews and so on. It is very obvious that the presence of religious tolerance is very necessary to be adapted if people want to get along with the existing society. It is the responsibility of every person belonging to any religion to tolerate other people who belong from other religions and also respect their religious beliefs (Federer, 2005). It is very necessary for people to realize that no one should be hated on the basis of religion, faith or belief.
