Factors that are taken into Consideration While Planning Research Proposal

When an organization works on the research proposal then there are certain elements that remain important and are considered in the planning of the research process and in presenting the research proposal. These elements of the research proposals are as follows:

Aims and Objective

Aims and objectives consist of two important elements. The first important element is of action verb and the second important element is of a subject content. The aimsna nd objectives are written from the perspective of researcher and defines what would be learned or explored upon the completion of the research. It is the milestone that is to be achieved from the research. Writing and describing aims and objective of the research provides a number of advantages (Andrew, 2010, 3).

Advantages of Aims and Objectives

Aims and objectives of the research proposal provide clues to the organization about the results that they want to achieve from the process of research. Aims and objective of the organization helps the organization and the research team to stay focused and do not deviate from what is to be achieved. When the process of research is conducted then a number of different facets are revealed of a single phenomenon so, it becomes difficult for the researcher to keep the focus. In this scenario, the role of aims and objectives that are developed at the start of the research process is indispensible. The main purpose behind writing aims and objectives of the research is to describe in a clear and concise way the intended purpose of the research (Andrew, 2010, 3).

Disadvantages of Aims and Objectives

Where there are some great advantages of stating aims and objectives then there are also certain disadvantages of it. When the aims and objevctives are written then there remains no chance to deviate from the topic that is to be researched. In this way, the important aspect that a researcher can reveal during the process of research remain unexplored. During the process of research when a research get to know something beneficial and useful for the organization but it is not related to the main crux or main topic of the research then the researcher avoid to include these important and intriguing aspects. They do not do that because they think that if they would do that their research would be invalidated (Jack, 2012, 14).

An Introduction

An introduction is the part where the conceptualization of the research goals is put forwarded. It is this part where the topic of the research is introduced slowly and gradually. The introductory part is important because it provides general and basic idea about the topic that is to be researched. The introduction part needs to be catchy and captivating. This is because a reader decides and develops interest by reading this part. This part of introduction is of immense importance in the research proposal because the acceptance and rejection of the research is dependent on this part. If the reader remains ...
