Introduction

A degree in Criminal Justice can either qualify you or enhance qualifications you already possess for many different careers in the field of criminal justice in the public and private sectors. A degree in criminal justice will enable one to combine one area of ??expertise or interest with another. For example, a lawyer may pursue a criminal justice degree after he becomes a lawyer, or a graduate with a degree in criminal justice may go on to pursue law school.

According to Hagan, (2010) There are number of new terms has been arrived in this 20th century, computer forensic is one of them that helps to identify the suspect in criminal justice system. Computer forensics is also known as cyber-forensic. It is the application of computer investigation to gather facts, suitable for presentation in a court of law. Computer forensics can be defined as the regulation that combines computer science and law to analyze data from the computer and wireless communication, in such a way that is permissible as evidence in a court of law (Hagan, 2010). My goal to apply the computer forensics is to find out the history of case i.e. what exactly has happened on the computer, and the person who is responsible for it.

I also want to pursue my career in criminal justice system with specific term of computer forensic that will be more helpful for me to evaluate the case and then put my strong appeals in court.

Computer forensics

Computer forensic helps the organization in searching the person blameworthy for any unlawful act. For instance, if the legal and technical aspects of computer forensics understood, it will help in capturing the vital information. Through computer forensics, any company can prosecute the case against the one who is responsible. Another importance of computer forensics is that it can save the organization's money. Companies do not have to spend on computer and network security; instead, they can use computer forensics (Hagan, 2010).

Now-a-days when there is tremendous competition everywhere, there are more chances of people misleading. In this case computer, forensics and criminal justice is very important. According to Hagan, (2010) Computer forensics helps in identifying who is responsible for any illegal step taken through computers, or any wireless communication medium. With the help of computer forensic, the right person is prosecuted. It also helps in collecting the history of the computer with the details.

Computer forensics can be used in various types of incidents; some of them are (Johnson, 2013):

1. Misuse of systems by employees (example, violations of Internet use policies)

2. Wicked code (example, viruses, worms, or Trojan horse programs)

3. Hacking

4. Unauthorized electronic monitoring (sniffers, key-loggers, etc.)

5. Web site destruction

6. Access to confidential information for misuse

Unfortunately, there is no solution to catch these incidents. There should be some solution to prevent such incidents, for which computer forensics used.
