Abstract

In today's competitive work environment, one of the key challenges faced by the organization is employee hiring and retention. The research explores to determine whether the increase in the pay will improve the level of employees who are deployed in the rural areas. To carry out this project, client system is adopted. A client system representative is hired to address and provide recommendations on the issue of employee hiring and retention faced by the Wildlife sanctuary, especially in a rural area. Client system representative adopt the action research process, and collect data by conducting interviews to gain an insight on the project. The data is analyzed by content analysis. Process consultation and the change cycle implementation will be employed for effectively communicate between client and Wildlife sanctuary, along with socio-technical systems. Literature makes it apparent that employee hiring and retention are complex; thus, employer need to design job description that fits business need and expectations, as well as adopt a blend of HR strategies of motivation and engagement to retain employees.
