Introduction

The Etruscans had a huge influence on Roman civilization. They brought their religious ideas and construction techniques. They are also the source of much of the political organization of Rome. But the Etruscan kings, relying on the people to govern, were removed from power the great Roman families. These, at the end of the sixth century BC, managed to drive them away.
