Introduction

The stories regarding the monsters and super human creatures have been n integral part of the English literature. These fictional tales allow the audience to experience a vividly horrifying and chilling experience, where they imagine a world full of adventure and heroism. Frankenstein is one of the stories which has now garnered a legendary status, but only in the English literature, but rather on a global perspective. It is one of the stories which have been successful translated in several languages and reproduced in several different versions. Even though the certain elements of these versions might differ from each other, the crux of the story revolves around the mystery of the human life. It asks the question, about the invincibility of human life, and how easy it is to take and give life. The story shows a different perspective of life and the power of the social influences of the human society (Shelley, pp. 112). In a world where the societal; forces distinguish between what is normal and abnormal along with the rightness of things, the individuals are conditioned to treat anything different with contempt and suspicion.

Frankenstein is the tale of a lost creature, which is never really taught about the world or his purpose in life. Morality is only formed by the perception of an individual, which is formed by his life lone experiences, but how can a monster created through an experiment form his morality. To him life and death is an alien concept, and the man who created him, is also the person who hates his existence. The 1818 Marry Shelley's Frankenstein is not a science fiction book, regarding supernatural or farfetched ideals; rather it is about the philosophy of life and the emotional struggles ...
