Content Summary

The book is started with the expectation of grabbing awareness to the mournful condition of evangelism in modern churches by the author. First two chapters explained by the author describes that Christians could not face failure if the faith is shared among people. The sharing is considered as the success and not the final result (p.3). Without the clarification brought by the fundamental understanding, this book by Fay has failed to converse the significance that each person is an evangelist. Unfortunately, majority of the Christians are liable to commit the sin of silence, as called by Fay. Naturally, a feeling of excitement must be felt by Christians when they share their faith (p.7). The sharing of faith must be contagious. The author has related a tale of a lady who was involved in betrayal, but later she submitted herself to Christ and returned to her spouse seeking pardon. Following two days, the woman's spouse came to Fay telling him something that there was something unusual with his spouse and he is interested to show Fay something (p.10-11). Also the author informed that a survey was conducted by the Institute of American Church Growth where about 75-0% of believers got acquainted with Christ through an acquaintance or friend p.11-12).

A whole chapter is discussed by Fay related to the requirement to overcome the fear of evangelism. Then the book goes into an instructive section. Here, the author states that every follower of Christ has the job of evangelism. The author emphasizes on the command for evangelism, where the author reminds the readers that the authority of Sacred Character does the genuine effort and it is not done by the person who shares the gospel (p. 16). Then the author discusses six main point provided by the people who do not share their faith with the dread of negative response (p.17-19) and fright of estimation delivered by friends (p.19-21), fright of distribution faith with colleagues ...
