Throughout the history of humanity every culture and every religion has had a fable or a myth regarding the transplantation of organ as a means of alleviating human suffering, however, have had to take many years for this dream come true. In today's world the transplantation of organ is considered as a blessing for suffering ones. But still it is one of the most controversial issues of the world (Shimazono 2007, 955-962). The sale of organ for the transplantation has its pros and cons. If it is sold then only those who can afford it will be able to get rid of their organs, which are problematic. This would push those who cannot afford the organs to remain in pain at the hands of the organs causing all the trouble.

Explanation of the issue

The donation is an altruistic gesture, considered the greatest act of kindness among humans. There are now thousands of people who need transplant to continue living or improve their quality of life. Organ transplantation, one of the medical marvels of the twentieth century, has drawn out and enhanced the lives of a huge number of patients around the world. Numerous extraordinary researchers and clinical experts devoted health progresses and endless demonstrations of liberality by organ givers and their families, have made transplantation life-sparing treatment as well as a glaring image of human solidarity (Becker & Elias 2007, 3-24).However, organs selling on the other hand can lead to various problems which can cause uneasiness in the nomenclature of the society. Moreover, it is also rendered as a threat to the human rights and acts in its violation. Therefore, even today selling of Human Organs is a controversial subject in all parts of the world. A large number of deaths are attributed due to the rebuttal of transplantation laws. On the contrary, many people are suffering diseases because they are selling their organs. In some cases, people do not know their organs are sold off during surgeries and operations. In many countries, laws has passed which prohibit the selling and purchasing of human organs. The commercialization of human organs is not only against the ethical, moral and religious laws but also against the humanity which is also unfair according to the philosophy of Utilitarianism.

Organs for transplantation should be donated as selling of the organs can give birth to various evils in the society such as Human Trafficking, etc and would further increase the social divide in the society.
