The core purpose behind the social work is to ease the interaction between the public, as well as, the elements in the society.

The profession of social work is based upon caring and societal well-being. The term social pertains to encompass masses, as well as, the interactive space that is based upon the commitment of people towards the well-being of each other sectioned under the domain of the state. The promotion promotes social change, human interaction, societal relationships, empowerment and liberation of the masses that fosters the living quality, as well as, well-being of people (Jonathan, 2009, pp. 81-126).

The scope of social work pertains to the society, as well as, surroundings of the society. The key job of a social worker is to intervene with the interaction between individuals and the society, so as to, make the situation smoothen for them.
