Introduction

Socrates, lived in Athens, was a Greek Athenian philosopher and one of the major figures of Greek world culture and civilization and one of the founders of Western philosophy. Indicative of its importance to ancient Greek philosophy is that all the Greek philosophers before him called Pre-Socratic.
