Introduction

This analysis of the case study aims to develop an understanding regarding the food shortage and issues related to food shortage in Somalia. The main focus of laying out this case study is to consider major loop holes in the food utilization information and propose solutions for the issues in regards to their contribution to malnutrition . At first background of the respective country will be described in detail, after that introduction with case will be given in detail along with the causes, following by the key issues and the possible solutions, which can be undertaken for combating the issue. After the possible solutions, one preferred solution and the reasons for preferred solution will be provided.

Background

Somalia is one of the most heavily indebted poor countries, yet it receives international aid is minimal. The 40% of GDP and 65% of exports are based on livestock but the Somali livestock income countries like Saudi Arabia was suspended in 2000.
