Spiritual Formation

Introduction

With respect to the philosophical assumptions, there are many concepts and aspects of that my theory is integrated with. Spirituality has become increasingly important for counseling and prayer is a spiritual intervention selection of Christian counselors. The divisive nature of prayer, such as the government requires careful consideration of ethical issues. This article refers to the intersection of the spiritual measures, especially in prayer, in which the client's welfare, multicultural sensitivity, values, and transmission of orders. The various authors consider ethical problems in social aspects, and make recommendations.

Spirituality and religion, and all the concerns and questions that follow them, such as prayer, are important for the lives of many people. The advice and counseling cannot simply ignore the existence (Murdock, 2009). On the other hand, mental health professionals should be aware of the beliefs that the patients can be cared and helped in order to relief them from their worries. All the treatments do not work for everyone, so instructors should be aware of the limitations of each treatment prior to use. For example, some people say that prayer could take the responsibility away from the "I", which prevents the growth of an individual. Therefore, the inclusion of religious practice is sensitive to the direction of the subject, so that the pilot and psychologists must be aware of all ethical standards, which surround it. To provide autonomy to an individual care, director should be included in deciding what treatment methods are used during treatment (Murdock, 2009). Finally, prayer, as with any other therapy, should be used with caution, so that an individual receives the best care possible.

It should be noted that concern for the spiritual dimension of life is not unique to Christianity. According to biblical teaching, the real wealth of a human being does not depend on the abundance of material goods, but to be "rich towards God" (Luke 12:21). Spirituality in this sense is an imperative for the Christian and is equivalent to the expected maturity of the Disciples of Christ (Hebrews 6:1) and is the best antidote to the ills caused by carnality. The need for spirituality is complete only with a proper balance of understanding, feeling and action. When any of these elements is removed or weakened, spirituality is impoverished, so that for many believers it is unsatisfactory. In the case of Christian counseling, we can use the word Christ-realization, as the counselor will help the counselee to achieve their full potential and keep you through the biblical guidelines and seeks to live Spirit-filled. In some cases, situational, people fail to realize and fulfill their functions satisfactorily. In such a case the counselor should support, motivate, and encourage counseling to support this phase of life, but continuing their tasks (Collins, 2007). Furthermore, many people find hard to accept that the problems have a spiritual dimension. It is here that the Christian counselor should take to involve the presence of God in his advice.
