Goals

The goal of the study is to determine the impact of Student's Attendance on Student Learning. Through the study, we will determine how we can improve student's learning and what are the factors that lead to student's learning through attendance.

We will also set up a measurement tool that will assess whether the performance of students have improved or not. We will check the results before of the students and their performance before and after the intervention program.

Expected Outcomes

The program will lay important focus on the attendance as it increases the student productivity and their learning. For the purpose, a session will be conducted with parents in order to emphasize the importance of attendance of children. In order to study the results, we will compare the results of students with higher attendance with students having lower attendance, keeping all other things constant (Owens, 2009). It is expected that students having greater attendance could grab higher concepts and learn more than students with lower attendance. When they learn the concepts again and again through higher attendance, the concepts retain in their mind and they are more skilled and knowledgeable than the other students (Wong, 2011).

According to various studies, the students who attend school regularly pass their math and reading test with good grades than the students with lower attendance. In California, there is a law that students between the age of 6 and 18 must attend school regularly, until there is any emergency or unforeseen circumstance. Moreover, if any student is absent from school than it is necessary for parents to provide adequate reasons. It is the responsibility of the parents to take important care of the parents, and to avoid unjustifiable leaves (Sheldon, 2007).
