Terrorism on the other hand, also a giant challenge for the US law bodies. Terrorism and the terroristic attacks produce severe effects on US citizens as well as on the law enforcing authorities.

Organized Crimes and Their Impact

Organized crime groups are comprised of gang of criminals that further form a complete criminal network. The members of these criminal groups are belonged to a different culture or nation, but together participating in organized crimes. Modern technologies and globalization helps crime groups to expand their criminal activities beyond the borders and regions. Operations are not only taking place at regional level, but also crossing international borders.

Concepts and Impact of Terrorism

Terrorism has gained importance in the United States from the incident of terroristic attack of 9/11. Globalization and technology also enhance the effects of terrorism as these two factors contribute in the mission and vision of terroristic attacks and provide the terrorists a big scope of their actions.

Weaknesses against Terrorism and Organized Crime

The attack of 9/11 shocked every American. These attacks were successfully done and killed almost 3000 innocent people. The reason of this failure and for the other terroristic attacks was the non compliance of the law enforcement agencies. It might be true in a sense that alone the law holding agencies could not accomplish the tasks against terrorism and other organized crime.

Theoretical Criminology Concepts

For properly studying of the criminal behaviors, different theories have been established. Strain theory of social behavior defines the reason of behaviors changing of people is the inability to achieve the goals and desires.

Another theory is the Differential association theory which also defines the crime perspectives. It concludes that with in a society the people are sensitive for deviating from the norms of that culture, when they meet with others who are actually going against the values of society.

Combating Strategies against Organized Crimes and Terrorism

Mutual efforts of the military and the law enforcement agencies are a valid option for achieving extended and short terms goals in reducing the organized crimes and terrorism. Enhancing the sharing of information between the military and the law authorities can create a difference as this activity can highlight the target areas of criminals and terrorists.

Conclusion

The conclusion is that the United States should develop clear strategies that can be satisfied both organized crimes and terrorism. Government policies should be well organized and compatible with the law enforcement agencies actions. Of course, the desired results can be only obtained when the rest of the world will combine its efforts with the United States endeavor for maintaining peace and humanity around the world by achieving even a challenging but realistic success.
