Introduction

Business ethics means doing business in an ethical way that no body get harmed from the company's business actions operations. Lululemon is undoubtedly a successful company and its mission is to ameliorate health factors of its employees and communities and surroundings it is located in there do something different. As per its mission the company aims to provide the quality life to its consumers and guests by providing quality and healthy products. This company is socially responsible and it is the backbone of its business operations.

The company believes in doing social responsible acts. That is the reason it is more focusing on the proactive approach rather than reactive approach.

The company is not only performing the socially responsible actions but also it is attaining the economic valuations. This year the company net value of lululemon exceeds $220 million. The company is operating in worldwide, it is an inimitable company and that is the reason the company are creating those apparels which are required by its clients.

In this research paper the company which is going to be analyzed and discussed is lululemon. The ethical issues and code of ethics are going to be discussed in this research paper.

Lululemon was established in 1998 in Vancouver, this company run yoga studio and yoga products, with every passing year this company is growing fast. Currently run clothes and technical yoga stuffs can be bought from these stores. The company offers a wide variety of athletic apparel for yoga and also for dancing, and running etc.

In 2004, its production expanded outside Canada and currently operates in the United States, China, Israel, Taiwan, India, Thailand, and Indonesia.

Business ethics is significant for company's success. Lululemon realizes the significance of business ethics and its business mission is not contradictory to its business operations.

Discussion

This company is operating in an ethical way. The business operations are ethical, there are many companies which mission and the statement is contradictory with its business operations. Before concluding that this company is performing ethical operations the ethical theories must be considered. Ethical theories emphasize different points such as predicting outcomes and stressing duty to others in order to arrive at an ethical decision, but they need to be directed at a common goal in order to be useful.
