Introduction

The meaning of the Genocide and Crimes against humanity are quite similar to each other. Although they both are related attempt yet associated as two different acts. The idea of “crimes against humanity” includes all inhumane acts such as rape, extermination, persecution, murder, and other all the related characterized acts. These acts cause great suffering either in the shape of serious injury to body or to physical or mental health. Various reports reveal that these types of most incidents are in the result of “widespread or systematic attacks”. On the other hand, the systematic attacks are characterized as the multiple acts of large-scale violence.

Similarly, the Crime of Genocide substantially has the same meaning of the Crime against Humanity. The crimes of genocide are defined as the acts that are committed with the intention of destroying, entirely or in partially, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group. So, by this second way, the series of acts mentioned are committed in order to represent serious violation of the right to life, and the physical or mental integrity of the members of the group. It would not be wrong to say that following the way, the Crime of Genocide, a particular plan is followed in order to devastate an identified group. The particular plan to devastate has a high significance to differentiate the Genocide and Crimes against Humanity.

Anyhow following this perspective, three works, A Century of Genocide: Utopias of Race and Nation by Eric D. Weitz, Final Solutions: Mass Killing and Genocide in the 20th Century by Benjamin A. Valentino and The Dark Side of Democracy: Explaining Ethnic Cleansing by Michael Mann have a significant importance to go through. As it will be clear at the end of the paper that all these three authors have the design shed light of the incidents carried out for the purpose of mass murder and genocide. The genocide and the mass murder are basically the crimes against humanity. As a result, coming generations have to suffer for a long while. Focusing on these views, the three authors are part of the paper, and what they have raised the issues in their work are the main issues of this paper.
