The Healthcare Staff

Introduction

In this study we try to explore the concept of improving the work performance of people serving the healthcare industry. In the times of today, not only does it make way for the development and the establishment of a strong and effective outcome that would provide for creating better performance of the people involved in the healthcare industry. In addition to the above, it would immediately transcend into developing core competencies among nurses and also make way for better customer and clients servicing.

Management Performance Plan

Performance is not the responsibility of one department, but that it is a combination of multiple facets and factors that together touch the necessary outcomes and achieve remarkable, beyond-expectation performance that would provide for further objectives and setting new targets in an entirely new paradigm (McBride, 2011).

The most effective plan that could be employed on the part of the management is what I personally label as the 'KER' program. Comprising of three (3) vital traits and components, not only are the people servicing clients make way for progress and development, but the fact that it would make way for clients and the people serving them establish a stronger relationship.

Anticipated Outcomes

Knowledge

Nurses are obliged to become fully aware of the challenges and the demands that a certain client has when it comes to receiving treatment. Their knowledge base requires constant scrutiny and examination, which demands surveillance and monitoring at different levels of practice and treatment.

People dealing with patients and clients would be able to better decipher the condition of the patient and would be able to narrate and describe the condition to the doctor. In addition, changes of flaw and the associated problems would be able to make way to rise in the long-run.

Expertise

Once the knowledge has been gained, specialized groups would have to be established in order to understand the prevalent conditions that patients are experiencing.

Further problems and their corresponding solutions would surface that would make way for better treatment of patients.

Rapport

With knowledge and expertise acting side by side, relationship shall establish in order to understand the patient, their requirements and the ways through which nurses are able to tap into the minds of the patients.

That way, people are much closer to their patients and are making way for better relationships and a healthy recovery of the patient.
