The Lake Isle of Innis free

This is a poem written by William Butler Yeats. The poem demonstrates that the purpose of the poet's writing is to make people feel their own lives and the elements in an environment. The poem revolves around an anonymous character that wonders about the reality and has a desire for peace. The character speaks to him on a roadway in a city that resembles a lot with New York City. By hearing the splashing sound of the lake water, the character feels inspiration to speak. The character keeps on portraying the life that he spends in a city. According to him he is just lacking his time by living in a city. He then keeps on mentioning about the glittery soothing midnight, the glow of the moon and the sounds of crickets, all these elements add to the beauty of the place. Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening

It is a very well-known poem by Robert Frost. The poem in appearance seems to be simple, but in reality, it comprises of deep thoughts. He went out to experience sun rise and eventually got an idea of writing this poem (Tuten and Zubizarreta, pp.347). The poem related to an experience of the speaker when once he stopped by snowy woods in winter evenings. His horse was also with him, and he keeps on admiring the beauty of the place (forest) where there was a snow fall. The speaker provides a projection by placing himself in the mind of his horse and anticipates the practical concerns of his horse. The horse with the help of his harness bells gives a signal to keep moving and continue the journey.
