Introduction

This context is about an autobiography of Christy Brown which is named as My Left Foot. It is a story about his own life of disability started since his birth time and till the age at which he learnt to write the first latter of his life “A” with his disability. At that time his age was 5 years old. The beautiful and sentimental thing about context is that despite of losing hope according to doctor's advices her mother never even thought of giving up on him and just had a hope that he will respond to her. She wanted to prove the people that his cannot respond over the acts but his mind works. And one day she proved that thing.

Discussion

Firstly after his birth, his mother saw that there was something wrong with Christy. He was of four months old at that time. She noticed that his head has a habit of falling towards the back each time she tried to feed him. She attempted to right that by putting her hand on the back of his neck to stay it stable. But when she got her hand away, again the back got dropping. That was the very first word of warning for Christy. After that, she became conscious of other imperfections as he got older. When his mother told those things and her fears to his father then he was also convinced that there is obviously something wrong with him and they decided to consult those conditions with medical representatives as soon as possible. Each doctor who examined him labeled him as an interesting but a really hopeless case. They also told to his mother that he is mentally imperfect and would be same forever. That was really a hard thing for a mother who was quite young and had nurtured five healthy and normal children. But still a lot of assurance about his disability to his mother, she refused to accept the unavoidable truth. She had a hope without any valid proof that only his body was crippled but not his mind. She was well aware of the fact doctor wouldn't help or treat in any means but still she didn't lose his hopes on Christy.
