Introduction

The Notebook (The Notebook) is a genre of romantic drama film written by Jeremy Leven and Jan Sardi directed by Nick Cassavetes, with the shares star Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams. The film tells the romance of Noah (Ryan Gosling) and Allie (Rachel McAdams) during the summer of 1940 in the town of Seabrook, North Carolina. Everything starts at the village fair, where Noah is attracted to the girl from the start. Although she goes with a group of friends, he does not hesitate to run an unreasonable risk in order to get an appointment. Allie agrees, but the next day when he reminds agreed, for a moment she tries to pull back.

The story unfolds in the 40's. A young man goes to the coastal town of Seabrook to go change her mind that sent letters for a year, every day, but she never answered them. All change at that time ... she realizes that she still loves him with all his might and never had been able to forget. Her mother comes to look for the people and she says she knows the truth about the letters, Allie tells her boyfriend everything and he forgives her, but she says she is the one to decide and she decides to stay with who tells his heart. Noah marries and has three children and one granddaughter. Years later he leaves his family and makes the house he built an asylum where she is served with Alzheimer's and he (Noah) was the old man who reads this journal to remember who is forever, escorts her to her last days unconditionally(Loring, 2004).

Critical analysis

The Notebook is one of the sad and psychologically successful romantic movies released in last 20 years. Notebook directed by Cassavetes and it is based on the novel of the same subject, by Nicholas Sparks. It was produced in a little funds only $ 30 million (Spark, 1996). The form of the film increases the booming expansion of the story as the plot is mainly concerned with the fate of two young star-crossed lovers along the way of 'Romeo and Juliet'. In 'The Notebook', 17 year old Allie (Rachel McAdams), the daughter of a rich spray intimate, in love with a young country dweller, Noah (Ryan Gosling), while on holiday in the 1940 youth. However, the story is told from the viewpoint of a man of old age without complaint in a home treatment (James Garner), named Duke, who is the interpretation of the story of two lovers resigned to a little fellow (Gena Rowlands). She is the agony of dementia and has lost his memory. The story of Noah and Allie begins on the side of a parade in Seabrook Island, North Carolina. After well-meaning contacts assist to uncover a better understanding, feelings digging all summer to escape the same time (Goodykoontz, 2011).
