The Old Testament

Introduction

The word "Bible" in Greek means, book (in Asia Minor city of Byblos, made for the ancient papyrus books). Plural in the title of the original structure emphasized Scripture of the Jews, consisting of a number of books, but over time has become another grand meaning: something like Book of Books.
