The life of this family was disturbed by many of the social and personal disorganization to perform normal in the social setting of the United States. The family is even struggling for even the basic necessities that are quite well defining the situation under financial fulfillment.

The family is struggling for food as it can be seen in one of the introducing scenes that the juices that were left in the glasses on the dining table are being poured back into the jug for further use. Both of the parents are working long hours to fulfill those basic requirements of shelter and food along with taxes and parking tickets to prove that they are responsible citizens like everyone else who is not faced up with such issues.

Mostly, this family cannot operate due to the phenomenon of social existence because of the hard work that is not turning their circumstances around.
