The main theme of this essay depicts the unique way of Zora Neale, who in my point of view is visionary role model, who looks the world in her own unique way. The life of Zora Neale has influenced the theme of her writing in many ways (Boyd 14 439). She has actually incorporated her own life experiences, what she has gone throughout her life. She was living in a world of discrimination where no one was actually free to what he wants. But, she considers that every human being in this world is equal, and no one has superiority over another. The whole idea behind this essay reveals the fact that the world at that time was full of inequality against the black people. And, according to the author there was no better weapon in fighting against discrimination than a high level of self-esteem.
