Henceforth, rendering basic information to the naïve mind, it can be eloquently articulated that the European industry, constitutes of a wide array of destinations and products, as well as numerous stake holders that are involved and related to the prosperity and progress of this industry. Interestingly, the stake holders that are involved or are related to this industry are both private and public, and the domains of the pertinent competence are also believed to be rather decentralized, usually spread over the vast vicinity of local and regional points (Mullen, 2009, p. 468).

Moreover, with respect to this industry it can be stated that more than 5 % of GDP of Europe is generated via this industry. Not only does it cater to the labor force of almost 5.2 % of entire Europe, but it also involves over 1.8 million enterprises. Interestingly, over time numerous steps have been taken by the respective authorities to not only increase the relative awareness of the tourist destinations in Europe, for the tourists other than the European themselves, but considerable endeavors are being rendered to actually not only enhance the facilities, but also increase the number of destinations in the list of the European tourist spots.
