Rehabilitation

This is extensively used more usually with juveniles. It is implied with the assessing with hopes of person determine comorbidities that might donate to offense. To solve the criminal queries and concerns of juveniles has discussed in this type of sentencing.

Florida

Florida prison system has been very successful in keeping their prison system from overcrowding, other than the Florida sentencing guidelines, Florida have a program called controlled release. There are many legislative which restricts inmates from getting release early. On the other, there is a program which offers awards and recognition to inmates on a discretionary basis in order to accelerate the release dates and which can help them in reducing the length of stay in prison. The national tendency for releasing and sentencing policies utilized in Florida reflects the transition process of Florida from indeterminate to determinate sentencing (Lappi-Seppälä, 2011).

Florida Sentencing Structure

In order to explain the transition process of the Florida criminal sentencing for over the last three decades from an indeterminate policy, emphasizing on the rehabilitation of the offender to a determinate system which was emphasizing on punishment.
