Violence against Women

Introduction

This research is based on violence, that a woman goes through whether it's her personal life or outside her house etc. These violence attacks are against women and are very severe and can be physical, touching, spiritual or sexual. The root word of violence is “violate” which comes from a French dictionary. It's “vis” or the Latin that is “violare” means force. Talking about all sorts and forms of violence that are against women is the truth that women are strained cleverly in to certain situations that they are against and not willing to do. Women never act in a way that violence comes in their way and attacks them (Erturk & Purkayastha, 2012, pp. 142 - 160).

Intimate partner violence, implies conduct by a personal mate or ex-mate that creates physical, sexual or mental mischief, incorporating physical combativeness, sexual pressure, mental abuse and regulating behaviours. Sexual violence is any sexual enactment, endeavour to acquire a sexual gesture, or other act guided opposite an individual's sexuality utilizing compulsion, by any individual paying little heed to their association to the victimized individual, in any setting. It incorporates assault.

Violence is something that includes any kind of assault on the body of a female, her physical integrity or freedom of association imposed some person or either through the dominance of the community. This violence as discussed above is physical, emotional and also abusive. It is abusive in the form of rapes, sexual attack or a murder by the husband. Apart from this women are harassed and become a part of these kinds of violence at their work places (Our Bodies, Ourselves, 2005, pp. 692). They are stalked by people and later young girls are kidnapped and prepared for prostitution by manipulating them psychologically. In this paper I will also be discussing the way violence is associated with numerous other problems. So the part how physicians and doctors tackle such situation when women are going through all these brutal domestic violence will also be a part of this research (Kappler & Kaltenbrunner, 2012, pp. 01).
