The house was formerly the residence of Belgian Doctor. The house is currently in very decent condition, with only few panes of glasses broken, and few chips out of the building. The trench was six to seven feet deep, so the troops were fairly safe from rifle fire. The author has tried to target potential candidates who are willing to join the army. It explains how tough their life could be and how well they must be prepared in order to serve as a military personal.
