ABSTRACT

The research study is based on the factors that have played successful role behind the Build and Design contracts in London Fit out industry. The research study also focuses on the factors that will help the Fit out industry in performing well within the post recession. In today's fast moving world, the design and build has been frequently used by the construction industry through the procurement routes. In the report being released for the London Fit Out market, the report shows that this year, the contracts for the Fit Out will be falling to greater extent as compare to what has been estimated. The analysis of the market shows that the contracts for the Fit Out market will be falling below the levels of the year 2010. The fit out contractors that have been ranked among the first of the contractors is Overbury however the Como and ISG have got larger share in the fit out market of the United Kingdom. The fit out industry accounts for an estimated one-third of the world's economy from the production of raw material to the distribution of finished interior. The industry's component parts such as the design and production are the basis of a highly complex industry. While employing a great diversity of skilled and talented individuals, the industry offers a multitude of products, and absorbs a considerable portion of consumer spending. One out of every eight UK workers is employed in fit out or its allied-field industries.
