Introduction

Memory is the most fundamental component of our daily lives. All of us tend to rely heavily on our memories as life without memory is close to impossible. This is because our survival depends upon our ability to recall the past events, people and circumstances that are connected in a thread that are linked to our present. Hence, it can be said that human memory is undoubtedly a complex activity of the brain that permits to store up the information and retrieve it whenever require (LUCID Research, 2004).

This study intends to expound the article of Robin Grille which is about the discovery of children memory as the title of the article says that 'What Your Child Remembers' which was published in May 2003. Besides that, the paper also aims to expand the study of this article along with the support of new research on early memory and its long term connection in the later life. The study is helpful in understanding the psychology of children in remembering the events of their early lives.

Discussion

It is believed that children do not remember anything whatever happens with them before the age of around two either a painful or a joyous moment. Contrary, science does not agree with this fact as according to the research done by various psychologists that opened the folded mysteries of brain at times of storing the memories. According to which each and every event experienced by the children whether the hurting or the enchanting moment, stores in the memory and has the lasting influence over the development of the nervous system of the baby from the very early ages.
