Introduction

The military personnel are those prestigious people who do not only have effective communication skills but they also have good understanding of workplace diversity. The good communication is dependent on flexibility and respect to others. Most of the military personnel know and speak more than one language; this is all due to the extensive travelling they have to do. Learning different languages can be helpful in maintaining an effective image on other individual and will also encourage good understanding among the sender and receiver or listener and speaker.

Military personnel are those individual who have high level of technical literacy and they can effectively serve in the streamline communicational efforts within any of the organization. They are trained in such a way that they can handle any type of communication verbal or non-verbal in an effective way. Military personnel are expert in professional or interpersonal communications and have effective writing skills as well. They know very well on how to earn success in today's dynamic world as they have effective management skills. The communication skills that are used by military personnel have accuracy, concise and clarity; therefore they are able to convey and communicate with others in an effective way.

Discussion

The persistent aspect of communication is referred to politeness and it plays an effective role in all our interactive sessions either in workplace or in general public. There is no one who is exempted of communication; therefore every single individual who has been recruited into the military need to have good communicational skills and should know the importance of communication efficacy. Both verbal and non-verbal communications are important for effective communication; therefore one should give importance to both of them. It is our communication skills that can either impress or disappoint others.

As communication is not just verbal it includes many important non-verbal aspects that are helpful in managing effective communication such as facial expression, gestures, body language etc. The communication style of every single individual is different and unique for others; one can identify some of the characteristics in each of the styles. All the communicational styles need to be used according to the demand of the situation otherwise the purpose of communication would not be accomplished. The military personnel are those individuals who are trained to read the minds of others and therefore they have sharp communicational and judgemental skills.

Role 1 - As an Employee

As an employee in the military, I would be required to have effective communication skills both verbal and non-verbal. So if I would not be having effective communicational skills I would be feeling hesitant to put forward my point of view and would rather try myself to be away from such situations in which I would be required to speak up.
