Introduction

The religion of Islam is a most important and key global faith, which is followed by over one billion people and is growing. People who abide by the Islam are known as Muslims. The beginning of Islamic religion has its roots linked back to seventh century in Saudi Arabia. Although it is among the biggest and most abided by religious beliefs in the existence, it's the newest of the several religious beliefs. With reference to the worldly history, the prophet Muhammad prefaced this religion in 610 A.D. subsequently going through what he arrogated to be a sainted tribulation. He prescribed the holy book al-Qur'an, the Holy Scripture of Islam, which its followers conceive to be the pre-existent, everlasting phrases of God.

Although the beginning of Islam is broadly credited to the prophet Muhammad but to the earnest Islamic, Islam commenced way before Prophet Muhammad actually came to the earth. The holy book was prescribed by prophet but with reference to the Holy Scripture, it didn't develop with Prophet Muhammad. The al-Qur'an attests of itself that it inclined by Almighty Allah by the saint Gabriel to the prophet Muhammad.

Interview at the Mosque

The Islamic house of prayer is known as a masjid or a mosque. The masjid that was visited for the compilation of this report was at the Islamic Society of Central New Jersey. Islamic Society of Central Jersey has been here in this block since the eighties and before that they were in Rutgers University. Later on the Muslim purchased the land and they have their Islamic Society Central Jersey.

The architecture of the Mosque was very much like the architecture of some Arabian mosque. There's specific manner that people should conform to before entry into the Mosque. An adult female who comes in a mosque should be decently clothed by wrapping all body parts. This comprises wrapping the hair with a scarf and body with abaya. While coming in the mosque, the individual should first take off their shoes. Muslims come in the mosque with their right foot and bequeath with left foot first, as instructed by the Prophet. External to the mosque are the wash rooms where people are anticipated to do ablution prior to starting their supplications. There are different sections for men and women. There's a section that has cupboards stacked with transcripts of al-Qur'an, Sunnah, and some other Islam related publications.
